Sculpture 101                                        Papier Mache

Step 1. Find materials for structure

Step 2. Build Structure

Step 3. Cover table and find a smock

Step 4. rip paper strips and make paste

Step 5.  First layer of paper strips. Secure the pieces together

Step 6. Let dry   

Add second and third layers. Let the glue dry between layers. The paste was made with flour, water and salt. 1c flour, 2c water 1tsp, salt. Some people like their paste thicker or thinner, it should be the consistency of syrup. (a little lumpier)
